This is my submission for the Contest: FIGHT CANCER WITH ART! Held by googleplusonda.deviantart.com
In my family there where a few people that had cancer, some of them can't tell their story anymore.
Also some of the people I know died or are still fighting against cancer and I want to support them.
This is Jasmijn, she died at a young age. She was in the same elementary class as I was.
She was always so happy when she could come to school, because most of the time she was at home.
She had leukemia, a cancer that attacks the white blood cells.
I still remember her as a strong and powerful person, even when she was in pain, she still shared her happiness with the world while she could. But when she was alone, I pictured that she would be sad that she would leave the world to go to another place.
Still watching over everyone, on her swing.
